Q: Do your DJ's have wireless microphones that can be used for blessings, toasts, etc. at weddings?
A:
Yes. We use only wireless microphones, not only because we can have your Best Man or Maid of Honor stand right behind you when giving their toast, but because they can afford us the luxury of being able to go out on the dance floor and interact with family and friends throughout the night.

Q: What are your prices?
A:
Please call Dance Party DJ's at
856-768-0944 for prices and special discounts.

Q: What does the DJ wear when performing at a wedding?
A:
All of our DJ's are dressed professionally in tuxedos for weddings and most of your extra special events.

Q: Can we talk to the actual DJ before signing a contract?
A:
Amazingly, all of our DJs' abilities and skills are virtually identical. No matter which DJ is assigned to your affair, you can be satisfied in knowing that they'll be the professional and quality entertainer you expect. Typically, our DJs are assigned at random approximately one month before your event, unless specifically requested.

Q: What makes Dance Party DJ's worth our investment?
A:
Dance Party DJ's prides itself in making each affair unique and memorable, the way our brides and grooms want their weddings to be. From cocktail hour to the last dance of the night, the quality of service and years of experience will have your guests wanting more.

Q: How early should we book our event?
A:
The average wedding is booked at least 12 months in advance. Our suggestion is: the sooner, the better.

Q: Are Dance Party DJ's interactive?
A:
Absolutely! Uncle Joe having a little trouble getting the Electric Slide just right? No problem! We're out there helping him along. From the Twist to the new Cha-Cha Slide, you can be assured that we won't just stand behind our gear and let your guests figure it out on their own. We're dancing out there right along with them.

Q: Do your DJ's carry back-up equipment?
A:
Yes. In the event that something goes wrong with a CD player or an amp, our DJs have back-up systems in place so that music interruption is at a minimum.

Q: Is music selection an option at our event?
A:
Yes. You have the option of requesting songs that you'd like to have played. We will supply you with a request sheet, but keep in mind that as professionals with over 20 years experience, we will do everything we can to ensure your guests are dancing and having a good time.

Q: Can we request a "do not play" list?
A:
If the chicken dance is something you don't want played at your affair, then we won't play it. It's that simple.

Q: Is the music played at a loud level?
A:
During cocktail and dinner hour, the music is played at a comfortable level. We understand that this is a time when conversation between your guests is at its' peak. We want your guests to enjoy their conversation along with the music and we play at a level that's conducive to both. When it's time to dance, the speakers are re-positioned for maximum sound coverage on the dance floor and minimum sound exposure throughout the rest of the room. This means that the music on the dance floor will be at a very comfortable, yet powerful enough level for dancing. The music will be less predominant throughout the rest of the room so your guests will still be able to carry on a normal conversation without screaming.

Q: Do your DJs hang banners or other advertisements?
A:
Your event is not about Dance Party DJ's. It's about you and we don't do anything to take away from that. We take much pride in producing an elegant presentation. The extent of our advertisement is a few business cards next to our equipment so guests can easily take a card without disturbing the DJ. We don't hang any banners or any other advertisements. While we do appreciate referral business, we like to think our performance speaks for itself, thus providing all the advertisement we need.

Q: Do your DJs take breaks throughout the event?
A:
From the time your guests begin entering the room, right through to the last dance, our professional entertainers will continue to play music. The music is non-stop from beginning to end.

Q: Can we view your DJs actually working?
A:
Yes. Just call our office and make an appointment so you can view the Disc Jockeys in action.

Q: How far will Dance Party DJ's travel?
A:
We've traveled as far north as Massachusetts and as far south as North Carolina. Our area of operation is, of course, South Jersey and Philadelphia, but if you need us to travel to your event, we can do so for an additional charge.

Q: Are we obligated to feed the DJ?
A:
No

Q: Does your company carry insurance?
A:
Yes. All of our DJs are insured for both your protection and theirs.

Q: Does your price include set-up time?
A:
Yes. Our DJs' show up approximately one hour prior to their start time and will be completely set up long before your first guests arrive. They will coordinate with the caterers, photographers and videographers to ensure that your event will start and end as smoothly as possible

A:
